Daily service is provided by Southern Airways Express to Washington-Dulles International Airport, and partners with American Airlines, United Air Lines and Alaska Airlines to provide connections to worldwide destinations.
The airport facility also offers a wide range of amenities and services for customers including rental cars, Savor on the Fly Cafe’, a travel agency and meeting facilities. Our goal is to make the airport experience comfortable and efficient as possible for all.
REAL ID is a federal law that affects how states issue driver’s licenses and ID cards if they are going to be acceptable for federal purposes, such as boarding a domestic commercial flight, or entering a military installation or federal facility that requires ID.
Beginning May 7, 2025, Pennsylvanians now require a REAL ID-compliant Driver’s License, Photo ID Card, or another form of federally-acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic commercial flight or enter a federal building or military installation that requires ID. Williamsport Regional Airport (IPT) is located just a short distance from Exit 21, if you are traveling westbound on I-180 (southbound on US 220). If traveling eastbound on I-180 (northbound on US 220), use Exit 23 (Warrensville) off-ramp and drive straight ahead to Broad Street in Montoursville. Travelers from any direction will only need to follow the PennDOT style airport direction signs to the airport. The facility itself is located at the terminus of South Loyalsock Avenue in Montoursville.

Flying somewhere but worried about parking fees? Williamsport Regional Airport now offers FREE Parking as a courtesy to our flyers. Located on the west side of the terminal building, it is a very short walk to the west entrance with no need to wait for shuttles and trams. Our lot is lighted, with security cameras as well as local police frequently patrolling after hours. Remember if you Fly IPT, you PARK FOR FREE! In order to assist passengers with special accessibility needs when traveling through the Williamsport Regional Airport, provided are several items and procedures to help.
Please note that accessibility, in this context, is defined as an issue or item that conforms to State and Federal codes.
For people using wheelchairs, as well as other disabled travelers, the Airport has provided curbside loading/unloading with specially designed curb cuts for access to the Terminal’s main entrances. Additionally, automatic doors make movement throughout the Terminal easier. The baggage check-in at Southern Airways Express’ counter and the post-flight baggage claim area are easily accessible for wheelchair bound individuals. An accessible drinking fountain and restrooms are available in the main lobby area and in the passenger holding area.
For wheelchair travelers, please call the Airline prior to your flight day and make your circumstances known so the airline can be ready to assist you when you arrive at the Airport.
Depending on the level of disability, special needs passengers may want to advise the airline of their situation also. Please remember it is important to discuss this with the airline prior to arriving at the airport for your flight.
According to the airline’s Contracts of Carriage, passengers departing from United States airports must complete the purchase of an airline ticket, check-in, obtain a Boarding Pass, and complete baggage check-in (if needed) no less than 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Also, you must be at your boarding gate (with TSA security completed) at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. The airline has the right to cancel your reservation, deny boarding and/or refuse the acceptance of checked baggage of any passenger who fails to present himself/herself within the applicable check-in time limit for passengers and/or baggage. It is your responsibility to arrive at the Airport with enough time to complete all ticketing, baggage check and security procedures so you can arrive at the gate ready to board.
The Terminal building, located at 724 Airport Road, Montoursville, PA, is open weekdays from approximately 4:30 AM-8:00 PM (Tuesdays until 5:00 PM), and weekends from approximately 7:00 AM-8:00 PM.
